Here is a rounded rock which had broken and had a flat bottom. How convenient for a basket of flowers. This flower arrangement will be kept on my web page after sold as an example of what I can do. This collection of rocks was painted using each distinguished shape without alterations or fillings. Note rocks include shoes, shark, tigers eyes etc. The frog in the lower right corner was a flat rock with an ugly raised lump on it. The lump was painted as a frog and flat area as water. All paintings are on Missouri field stone, creekbed rock or even found in driveways. I use some unusual shaped Missouri field stone or smooth river shaped rocks and make animals, deer, mice etc. from them. Recently discovered in my rainy weather creek is a ledge of rocks which is layers of mud harded rock, I paint scenery and other pictures on them, the chipmunks (above) are on such a rock. This kind of rock is becoming very popular. The chipmunks one is about 12x12 inches and probably weighs 3 or 4 pounds..The hole the mouse is peeking out of is an indention in the rock, I use the shapes of the rocks to dictate what the picture will be. Indentations, bulges, and unevenness will dictate water, ripples, tree trunks, even an animals face.
